Information we collect
When you use our Services, the following types of information is collected
Information You Provide Us
Account Information
Some information is required to create an account within the Club Synergy Community. As well as your name, email address, password, date of birth and gender, mobile number, company name, we also request health related details on our PAR-Q. This information is used to make a decision on whether the activity level offered by Club Synergy is appropriate for you or whether we need to seek medical opinion or decline membership on the grounds of current health information provided.
Additional Information
To help improve your experience or enable certain features of the Services, you may choose to provide us with additional information though messages in our app or via email.
If you contact us or participate in a survey, contest, or promotion, we collect the information you submit such as your name, contact information, and message.
Information from Third-Parties
Should you be advised to seek a doctor’s consent before commencing a Club Synergy membership, we will retain a scanned, digital copy of your PAR-Q with completed consent section, returning the original paper copy to you.
Payment Information
We use ZOHO and Stripe to manage the payment of your monthly subscription. Both companies privacy policies can be accessed through their websites.
Information We Receive From Your Use of Our Services
Information you upload
You may post content and engage in communications with other Club Synergy members through the social media private groups.
Location Information
We are able to derive your approximate location from from your IP address.
Usage Information
When you access or use our Services, we receive certain usage data. We collect data about the devices and computers you use to access the Services, including IP addresses, browser type, language, operating system, the referring web page, pages visited, location (depending on the permissions you have granted us), and cookie information.
HOW WE USE INFORMATION
We use the information we collect for the following purposes.
Provide and Maintain the Services
Using the information we collect, we are able to deliver the Services to you and honour our contract with you. For example, we need to use your information to provide you with a set which best meets your requirements; and to ensure the level of both business coaching and fitness activity are appropriate for your needs.
Your name will be shared in social media closed groups, enabling contact with other Club members.
Improve, Personalise and Develop the Services
We use the information we collect to improve and personalise the Services and to develop new ones. For example, we use the information to troubleshoot and protect against errors; perform data analysis and testing; conduct research and surveys; and develop new offerings and Services.
When you allow us to collect precise location information, we use that information to provide and improve features of the Services such displaying Club Synergy sets that meet near to you.
Communicate with You
We use your information when needed to send you Service notifications and respond to you when you contact us. We also use your information to promote new offerings that we think you would be interested in. You can control marketing communications and most Service notifications via the “Unsubscribe” link in an email or STOP function in a SMS.
Promote Safety and Security
We use the information we collect to promote the safety and security of the Services, our users, and other parties. For example, we may use the information to authenticate users, facilitate secure payments, protect against fraud and abuse, respond to a legal request or claim, conduct audits, and enforce our terms and policies.

For personal data subject to the GDPR, we rely on several legal bases to process the data. These include: a) when you have given your consent, which you may withdraw at any time by deleting your own profile within the app and by contacting us and requesting that we update or delete profile information. And b) through other tools; when the processing is necessary to ensure we fulfil our contract with you and when our progressing legitimate community interests, such as in improving, personalising, and developing the Services, marketing new features or products that may be of interest, and promoting safety and security as described above.
