Within six treatment sessions our professional team will help you regain your natural mobility, and share with you all the knowledge you need to maintain your natural movement.

The Moballise Physiotherapy Clinic promise

Within a maximum of six treatment sessions you will be returning to all your normal daily activities. You will do so through your natural everyday movement, without having to waste precious time undertaking artificial, scripted exercises You will gain the knowledge necessary to enable you to continually assess and maintain your mobility, increasing resilience to a relapse of your symptoms

You will receive.

A full Physiotherapy assessment including symptom diagnosis and clear explanation. A full, objective physiotherapeutic assessment of your symptoms is essential. Sometimes the human body can play tricks on you, hiding the cause of your symptoms far from the area of your body that 'hurts'.

We will quickly track down the cause and establish a treatment plan, starting immediately within your assessment session!

Your Physiotherapy treatment session is designed to achieve three main objectives using evidence based manual techniques and independent symptom management:

1. Reduce your symptomatic pain.

There are many useful techniques to reduce your pain. They are all aimed to put YOU in control. Once you are able to manage your own symptoms, you will no longer need your physio.

2. Increase your pain free range of movement.

If your range of movement is limited by pain, any movement can be exhausting. By gradually pushing back the point at which your movement becomes painful, you will find more freedom of movement, allowing you to engage in normal activities of daily life without exhausting yourself.

3. Improve your function.

Becoming pain free is the start. A great start. The next, and most important step, is to rehabilitate your movement and learn how to manage your body. If your body is a Ferrari, you need to learn how to best care for it so that it never breaks down again!

The most important part of any treatment process is the successful return to all normal activities of daily living without any symptomatic pain. Your treatment sessions will incorporate a progressive rehabilitation programme designed specifically for you and targeted specifically at your reported symptoms to ensure a successful outcome.

At The Moballise Physiotherapy Clinic we very strongly believe in enabling our patients. The more understanding, skills, independence and control you develop the more enabled you will become to monitor, treat and maintain your new found pain free mobility.

Enabling you to independently care for your ongoing mobility equips you with a huge amount of resilience against future episodes of symptomatic pain. You will be more aware of any warning signs of the onset of potentially painful, reduced mobility and, therefore, better prepared to assess and treat it yourself without ever returning for further physiotherapeutic intervention.

Mobility maintenance

The benefits of Massage Therapy  and, indeed, self massage are well documented and vast. Whilst the benefits of any type of massage are most likely to be temporary, the way to make temporary benefits permanent is through repetition. Regular massage therapy is, therefore, one of the best ways to ensure maintenance of your mobility. Self massage can be particularly effective in monitoring and limiting the build up of residual passive muscular tension. Following a course of Physiotherapy or as a stand alone intervention, regular visits to The Moballise Physiotherapy Clinic for Massage Therapy treatment can help to bring structure into your mobility self management plan.

The Moballise Physiotherapy Clinic

Ms Eleni Kapsali

I feel overtly excited about being part of such an accomplished and dedicated team as the one at The Moballise Physiotherapy Clinic whose mission for compassionate care aligns perfectly with my passion for helping people.

I fully embrace the purpose of enabling people to independently achieve their right to live a pain free life and I am keen to combine my skills as a musculo-skeletal (MSK) Physiotherapist and an NHS clinician to contribute to the effectiveness of the team in making that purpose come to life.

I was born and raised in Athens, Greece; a beautiful place but not quite as exotic as one would imagine when thinking of Greece. For as long as I can remember, I have always been fascinated by the way the human body works. It did not take much to realise that Physiotherapy was my true vocation in life. My first real brush with the profession, after I qualified in 2005, was when I started working in one of the biggest acute hospital settings in Greece. It could not have been a greater opportunity for me to gain such vast experience in inpatient physiotherapy.

In spite of that demanding position though, I remained incredibly conscientious about sharpening my MSK skills in those early stages of my career and started to practise in the private sector within the community. Furthermore, by understanding the importance of safe practice and to ensure I am in a position to offer high health care quality, I have put great effort and continued hard work into continuing my professional development.

Working towards that goal, I have undertaken several additional training courses and I frequently participate in congresses. All the above have benefitted me by enriching and updating my knowledge. Most importantly I have developed my skills in the assessment, treatment and management of MSK disorders.

Ten years passed too quickly and I was determined to take up my next challenge. My adventurous spirit compelled me to move abroad to Nottingham, UK to experience British culture first hand and further expand my horizons in the physiotherapy field.

The devoted Cardiac Rehabilitation team of the Nottingham University Hospitals, NHS Trust, appreciated my experience in Cardiopulmonary physiotherapy and offered me a permanent position within their team. However, my love for MSK physiotherapy continued to burn and I started working as an MSK Chartered Physiotherapist in the private sector once more.

In 2019 The Moballise Physiotherapy Clinic decided to invest in my comprehensive knowledge and skills to create a new dynamic partnership for the future. I am enormously proud of having been nominated to join the team and incredibly grateful for the positive feedback and kind reviews I have already received regarding my clinical competence.

We have exciting plans for the future of The Moballise Physiotherapy Clinic and I am ready to offer my services to those who need them with great enthusiasm and zeal!
