Welcome to the Colorado State Patrol Troop 5A certified V.I.N. inspection website serving the Durango, Bayfield, and Pagosa Springs areas. V.I.N. inspections are conducted by appointment only at either the Durango or Pagosa Springs C.S.P. office. Appointments can be made online by clicking the location nearest to you on this website, or by calling the Durango office of the Colorado State Patrol. Due to the high number of inspections we conduct, we cannot make house calls. All vehicles must be brought in by appointment to one of our offices. There is a $20 fee (cash or check only) for each inspection. All vehicles must be roadworthy and street legal at the time of inspection. Please bring all paperwork you may have such as previous titles, old registrations, bills of sale, certificates of origin, etc.
