The Center for Experimental Ethnography

The Center for Experimental Ethnography is an experimental ethnographic research and production center at the University of Pennsylvania. We seek to amplify discussions regarding the emerging forms scholarly research is taking in the humanities and social sciences, and to create institutional interventions related to nontraditional genres of research practice and dissemination. We engage in academic conversations regarding ethnography and experimental scholarly research modes along with facilitating visiting fellows, providing equipment loans to Penn Students and affiliates, providing editing suites, and providing conversational and institutional spaces for engagement with multimodal research (as with Graduate Student Organization of CAMRA, the Collective for Advancing Multimodal Research Arts).
