Norwich FoodHub C.I.C.

Norwich FoodHub is a community interest company (this means we are non-profit but don’t have official charity status).

Our mission is to reduce food waste and food poverty through redistribution of surplus food.

If you are a new volunteer and this is your first collection then please ensure you have completed our volunteer agreement before signing up to a collection.

As a brief overview of our model:

1: Volunteers (you!) collect food from our partner stores and return it to our unit in at Cadge Road Community Centre

2: Our hub leaders attend the unit every evening to weigh, log and sort the food.

3: Our partner receivers come to the unit the next day and take the food which has been allocated to them.
