  • Principles of Strength Training Workshop

    A two hour workshop at Synergi, a private gym in the centre of Bristol, where we will cover the following:

    *How we structure your training programmes for strength and muscle building, including types of exercises, sets and reps & programming style

    *How to get a stronger/heavier deadlift - an insider perspective

    *Training your glutes as a crucial engine for any form of strength training

    *A partner workout (crossfit style) to finish

    We will be teaching you the theory, plus putting it into practice together, so expect to leave with aching glutes and feeling more confident about your deadlift in particular.

    This is designed for Warriors who: Want to know more about what we're thinking when we're writing your programmes and training you Want a stronger/heavier deadlift Want stronger/better glutes Want to understand how to get stronger and build muscle for themselves

    There will be just 12 spaces for this, and it will be first come first served. Warriors get first dibs, then we'll be opening it up to non-Warriors. £30 each per space.

    £70 for a 60 minute session, unless you have a discount code from a seminar.

    TERMS & CONDITIONS 1. Payment must be made in full in advance to secure your booking. 2. The session is not refundable under any circumstances. 3. The session must be taken by 28th February 2018. We recommend that you look to book it in a minimum of two weeks in advance. This time period will not be extended due to failure to book in time. 4. If you wish to move the date and/ or time of your session you must let us know a minimum of 48 hours in advance. If we are provided with less notice, the booked time and date will still apply. We will not be able to extend the maximum time period for the session. of scheduled sessions. If a session is cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, full payment for said session will be required. For any cancellation outside 48 hours, the session will be re-arranged within the month in which it is due. 5. Sessions shall be 60 minutes in length and shall start at the scheduled time. It will not be possible to extend sessions beyond the agreed time. Amy respectfully requests that the Client looks to arrive at the agreed place of training (Synergi Gym, Pithay Studios, All Saints Street, Bristol BS1 2LZ) a minimum of 5 minutes before the session is due to begin. If the Client arrives more than 15 minutes after the scheduled time, the session may be deemed cancelled and the Client will be charged in full for the session. There is space to change on site. Please note that there are not showing facilities. 6. This agreement cannot be substituted to any other person without Amy’s prior express written agreement. 7. Data protection – Your data has been collected for the purposes of providing you with the services contracted for which are bespoke and detailed to your specifications. Your data will not be used for any other purposes or given to any third party. It will be secured safely and kept confidential at all times. You may request to see a copy of all data held on your behalf, subject to an admin fee. Following the cessation of our working together, your data will not be held longer than is necessary. 8. In attending the session, you are consenting to Amy using photographs of your training, reporting your progress and using any testimonial you provide for marketing purposes. Please note that photographs or videos or imagery of any sort filmed by yourself or third parties of your training, particularly if wearing branded clothing, may be uploaded without Amy’s prior written consent. Any such imagery that is made public without consent, must be taken down immediately upon request. 9. The Client must complete a Health Questionnaire – which will be sent via email – a minimum of 48 hours in advance of the session.
    10. Any variation to these terms must be made in writing and expressly agreed by both parties. 11. The nutrition and mindset coaching lessons will be delivered once a week for 12 weeks to the email address that you provide. If you do not see it in your inbox, you will need to check your junk folder. These emails must not be forwarded or distributed under any circumstances to any third party. 12. All documentation, including the nutrition and mindset coaching lessons, remain the intellectual property of Amy Newton Personal Trainer and must not be distributed or reproduced in any way, under any circumstances.
